Ban jower, good Internets.

I was a little surprised to see that Cutie Mark Crusaders banner get so much love, but I can't say I'm not delighted! It even inspired me to make a little something for a new icon/profile picture. Only took me a few hours! (and yes, it is the sprite used in Adventure Ponies)

I've also been working hard towards getting something REAL done with my life. The way I see it, if I love video games so goddamned much, why don't I marry them? (both metaphorically, and, if I play my cards, right, literally~) Which is why I'm getting back into my Japanese studies in order to hopefully get a job at one of the many companies in my region that localize games. Who knows? I could end up working for XSEED, or even Atlus! *キラキラの夢*

Other than that, I've been trying to think of other things to do with my chainmaille! While I'm going to have less time than usual from here on, I still want to keep posting things that others will enjoy (especially now that I've been posted on EQD - don't I, like, have to now?)

I was considering some basic jewelry based around the mane six, but I'm open to suggestions!

On that note, Internets, don't try to ask your "special" hand if it will be your Valentine - don't make the same mistake I did!

Happy various holidays, Internets! And even more if you count all the holidays Christmas used to be!

Just updating to give a heads-up on something cute that I just finished. It's a gift for a friend, and on the off chance that she knows how to internets, I'm going to refrain from posting it until I've given it to her, but I'm very proud of it, and I think y'all... y'alls... all y'alls... dammit [PLURAL YOU] will enjoy it, too. So, like... 楽しみに and stuff.

Don't eat the yellow snow, Internet! If you're really unlucky, it'll end up being lemon flavored!

Hey internet, status update! I just finished the scarf-body of my Lady Rainicorn scarf project. I actually think it's really awesome: I've left a slit in the middle of it to feed the scarf through, and when pulled tight, it is really quite warm and comfy.

I guess the only problem is that I don't really wear scarves. It's pretty much stupidly warm year-round where I live, after all. (California got the short end of the season-stick.)

Besides that, I just recently picked up some beautiful sparkly, dark blue yarn for an amigurumi of everyone's favorite moon princess, so that will probably be next. And after that, well... I've been eyeing this amigurumi for a long time now. I would absolutely LOVE to make myself an even half-as-awesome Rathalos, but I am presented with one significant dilemma: I have never (excluding certain parts of this scarf) crocheted something from scratch - I always, always have had a pattern help me through it. So, if I want to make myself a Rathalos (and, presumably, a Rathian to go with him) I'm really going to need to step up my crocheting game. It is indeed quite daunting.

Anyway, in other news, RUNE FACTORY 4 SHIPS ON TUESDAY! I have it pre-ordered from Amazon (and have had it pre-ordered since JUNE) and I am TOO EXCITED FOR NORMAL WORDS.

Therefore: a haiku ~

~ AAAAAAAAAAA *breathes* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ~
~ AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ~

Have a good night, internet! Don't hyperventilate!

It occurs to me that I live inside a terrible dichotomy.

On one hand, I love creating "art" (whatever that may mean). I would willingly spend all my time creating various forms of "art" if I had the opportunity.

On the other hand, the creation of "art" (and in the end, living itself) costs money. And the only reliable way of obtaining money is by putting your time and effort up for auction - known generally as "having a job".

I find myself stuck in the middle right now. I am happy that I am employed once more, because that means I will have money to buy materials for "art" like yarns, metal rings, fabrics, &c. But I am sad that I am employed once more, because that means I do not have enough time to devote to my art, and I return home everyday far too tired to think of creating something really worthwhile.

TL;DR = I have lifey-type problems sometimes! Also I have money now so there might be stuff posted soon!

(in particular, I've been thinking of making a scarf as a companion to one made by :iconrtakeshi:, since I never saw a suitable match come out of their gallery. I think my choice of character should be obvious enough.)

Don't get a job, Internet! The life of the third-class man ain't so bad!

Still alive and kicking, just dealing with the fallout from my graduation. (Hey internet! Protip: if you don't refer to me as BACHELOR Novem, I'll snap it off.)

I'll have something new to post pretty soon. Another shoulder pony. No name being dropped yet, but I will say that she seems to enjoy bread. Or something.

Don't do anything I wouldn't do, Internet! Or I'll come and find you myself.
